We know that you love our country pub for its award-winning pies, hearty pub grub and sprawling, dog-friendly beer garden, but we also want you to know it as the place to come to for something a little bit different.

We hosted our 11th annual Fireworks Night at the Fleur De Lys and combined it with Halloween on 31st October 2025. With live circus performers, a cracking band, tarot reader, fire and pyro show and face painters alongside a spectacular fireworks display, it was our most extravagant bonfire night to date!

In a climate where more than 300 pubs closed in the first three months of 2025, it feels like we should take any and every opportunity we get to celebrate the longevity of this place. Like so many others, we almost lost everything when Covid hit so to come through that and the subsequently turbulent five years since and receive the Best Pub Of The Year award at the Coventry & Warwickshire Foodie Awards feels like a huge achievement. A real cherry on top of the cake of surviving a pandemic!

We hosted our second annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Fleur De Lys on Sunday 20th April 2025. It was a truly joyous morning listening to the excited squeals of kids ransacking the pub and gardens for chocolate treasure!

The main reason you should visit the Fleur De Lys this Christmas is not something that can be put into words; it’s what the cool kids would probably call "the vibes.” Between 24th December and the 1st January, we find these old walls packed full of rosy faces and delighted conversations.
