Fleur De Lys Country Pub Menus

Whether you’re after a light bite or a full three-course meal, we’re the kind of country pub that caters for every appetite.

In addition to our main and seasonal menus, you’ll also find a daily specials menu which gives our chefs the chance to show off a bit, too.

Lowsonford Pies at the Fleur De Lys

This country pub has a long legacy with pies dating back to the 1950’s, when Mr Brookes’ original Fleur De Lys pies would draw customers from all over the Midlands to sample his chicken and mushroom or steak and kidney offerings.

Lowsonford Pies

Whilst those original pies were sold off to bigger competitors long ago, we’ve been busy working on redeveloping homemade pies here at the Fleur De Lys. The silver lining of Covid is that we were finally able to launch our own range of Lowsonford Pies in 2020, offering 11 different flavour options all lovingly developed here at the home of the pies. We have since gone on to have great success at the National Pie Awards, with our Steak and Stilton pie coming second in the whole country, which isn’t too shabby for a little country pub…!

All our pies are encased in a shortcrust pastry with a puff pastry lid and, when enjoyed at the pub, come accompanied with chunky chips, seasonal veg and a little jug of gravy, as well. But that’s not all! All of our pies are available to takeaway, either chilled or frozen, so that you never have to go a day without pie in your life.

Country Pub Sunday Roasts

We believe very strongly in massive Yorkshire puddings and lashings of cauliflower cheese. We’re also really committed to proper crackling with your pork and real stuffing with your roast chicken. We offer children’s roasts, too, because smaller appetites should still be able to enjoy a bit of roast beef.

Suffice to say, we take Sunday roasts very seriously at our country pub and would love to welcome you to enjoy all of this deliciousness with none of the hassle of cooking and washing up. We do recommend booking a table in advance as Sundays get very busy and if you know which roast you want in advance then we will happily take a preorder to ensure we’ve got one with your name on it.
