Upcoming Events & Workshops at the Fleur De Lys

Every year we take great pleasure in putting together an events schedule to give you more reasons to visit the Fleur De Lys. We know that you love our country pub for its award-winning pies, hearty pub grub and sprawling, dog-friendly beer garden, but we also want you to know it as the place to come to for something a little bit different. Whether you want to take a class to try out a new skill, bring the kids for some family-friendly entertainment at the pub or plan an evening out with your mates, we try to have a little bit of something for everyone.

In 2026, we’re putting a shout out for any small businesses, entrepreneurs, artisans, alchemists, creative freelancers, makers, bakers or atypical business founders who might want to work with us. If you’ve got something to offer our dedicated customer base, please do get in touch about setting up an event or workshop here at the Fleur De Lys. We’ve got a beautiful space that we’d love to loan you to showcase what you do!

Equally, if you run a community group, an interest circle, a networking initiative, a membership, a fan club or any other type of gang that needs a place to meet up, look no further than the Fleur De Lys to book your monthly/quarterly/annual get-togethers. Does your PTA need an AGM space? Does your knitting group need somewhere to stitch and bitch? Now’s the time to think about making the Home of Pies your new home from home!

CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOP

Thursday 12th March 2026, 7pm

The Artibus Yard returns to the Fleur De Lys this Spring with a crafty evening of candle making, fizz & nibbles.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn the art of soy wax candle making, exploring scents, pouring techniques, and finishing touches. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave with your own handcrafted jar candle alongside two tealights and the knowledge to keep creating at home.

SIP & PAINT WORKSHOP

Thursday 26th March 2026, 7pm

Join local artist Lisa Lowe for a creative evening exploring acrylic paint in the beautiful surroundings of the Fleur De Lys country pub. Let the artistic urge take over as you adorn your canvas with a beautiful painting inspired by our glorious surroundings here in Lowsonford.

Enjoy a tipple as you put brush to canvas, bring a pal or two and don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like this before, no experience is required! Lisa will guide you through the artistic process and teach you new techniques to ensure you have a completed masterpiece by the end of the session.

FLEUR DE LYS’ EASTER EGG HUNT

Sunday 5th April 2026, 9,30am

Join us for an egg-citing treasure hunt around the pub & beer garden, as well as enjoying a garden full of farmyard animals as The Good Day Farm bring a menagerie of festive creatures for you to meet. There'll be an Easter arts & crafts table and an egg and spoon race as well (weather permitting), so plenty of fun to get involved with.

The bar will be open alongside tea and coffee, whilst the kitchen will be open for brunch, too.

Join us at 9.30am for all the chocolatey fun, with the hunt starting at 9:45am sharp!

Please note that there is limited availability for this event, so you will need to have purchased tickets for any children who wish to take part. (Well-behaved adults are not required to have tickets, but all children must be accompanied.) This event will not be open for general walk-ins.

PIES & PRODUCTIVITY CO-WORKING DAY
Tuesday 24th March, 10am - 2pm

Are you a small business owner ready for a change of scenery? Join other fascinating creatives for a day filled with great energy & productive vibes to power through your to-do list.

Bring your laptop, notebooks and whatever you might need to crack on with your project(s) & get fuelled up with our award-winning pies.

Co-ordinated by the talented Tricia Rosas Music, this co-working day is the perfect opportunity to meet likeminded freelancers & atypical business owners whilst powering through whatever work you need to get done.

Booking is not required but if you’re able to DM Tricia directly to give her an idea of numbers, that would be extremely helpful.

In amongst all that, we’d love to see you on Valentine’s weekend as we have a delicious Specials Menu that’s made for sharing with the love of your life, which will be available from Friday 13th - Sunday 15th February.

If you’re thinking of bringing your Mum to The Artibus Yard Candle-Making Workshop as her Mother’s Day gift, then you have got superb taste. You can currently still get a table on the main day as well, so do get in touch to book your table for Sunday 15th March before we get completely packed to the rafters for Mothering Sunday.

FLEURFEST WILL RETURN IN JUNE 2026!

We’re going to fill the beer garden with bands, entertainers, magic makers and more, so tell everyone you know to bring everyone they know. We’re gonna have a party!
